Delivering the plan
This diagram illustrates our collective responsibilities for delivering the plan—both now and into the future.
All Queenslanders—governments, business, industry, community groups, individuals and The Queensland Plan Ambassadors—are encouraged to think of ways to achieve the vision and put these into practice.
Some inspiring Queenslanders are already leading by example and achieving great things across the state, while a number of organisations and governments have highlighted how they will align with The Queensland Plan.
In addition, The Queensland Plan has been enshrined in legislation to make sure it is at the forefront of everything we do well into the future—beyond the electoral cycle, as voiced by Queenslanders.
It’s anticipated that as we implement The Queensland Plan, we will continue to refine our aspirations to reflect our progress and refocus our efforts.
Annual whole-of-state progress reports will capture activities undertaken by all levels of government, business, industry and community organisations.
Provided to Parliament by the Queensland Government and published on this website, these reports will identify areas for improvement as well as new programs and initiatives across all nine foundations.
Annual ReportsThe Premier tabled the 2014–15 progress report on the implementation of the plan in the Legislative Assembly on 30 November 2015. Read more about the progress report here.
Queenslanders from across the state—every region and demographic—shaped our 30-year vision and ongoing community input will be essential to its long-term success.
The plan will be updated every five years and Queenslanders will be engaged in this process. Details of engagement opportunities will be published on this website.
