Erin Faithful

Erin Faithful

Erin is a Bachelor of Biomedical Science student at James Cook University in Townsville. At Mount Isa City Council’s 2017 Australia Day ceremony, Erin was awarded Young Citizen of the Year.

Erin was a Mount Isa Youth Councillor and Zonta Clubs of Mount Isa Woman of the Year (2016). As a member of the Youth Council, she provided governance, leadership and event management skills and advised the Mount Isa City Council. In 2013, Erin travelled to Rio de Janeiro to attend International Youth Day.

Erin received a number of awards at her year 12 graduation in 2016, including:

  • Caltex All Rounder Award
  • Defence Force Leadership Award
  • Christ our Light Spirit and Ethos Award
  • Bronze Award, Academic Achievement
  • Academic Portfolio Award.

She was a student representative on the School Board of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in 2014 and 2015.

Erin volunteered for several charitable and social events in Mount Isa, including the Mayors Ball, school fetes and community fundraising.
